About Us
Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization that improves the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. The Auburn club, chartered in 1947, has supported a variety of important projects and initiatives in the community for over 75 years.
Some of the programs we offer:
- Shelter for Sisters – A financial partnership with The Auburn Food Bank that helps defray initial relocation costs for victims of Domestic Violence
- Live Your Dream – A program that awards cash grants to women who are working to better their lives through additional schooling and skills training
- Financial and in-kind donations as well as service to local organizations
